Map the questions first

List the questions a visitor may have: what you do, who it is for, what the work looks like and how to begin. Organise pages around those needs instead of filling a navigation bar with everything the business knows.

Build a readable hierarchy

Give the most important idea a clear heading. Use short supporting sections, useful examples and straightforward labels. A visitor should be able to scan the page and still understand its purpose.

Connect the next step

A service page can link to related work. A project can link to the people and services involved. These connections let visitors explore at their own pace without returning to the homepage for every decision.

Review on a small screen

Read the page on a phone and try its forms. Check line lengths, menu access and button spacing. A polished desktop composition still needs a deliberately designed mobile experience.
